Columbia Station is a great subdivision located inside Aurora, Illinois. It consists of mostly single-family homes. These homes were built in the later part of the 90s. The smallest floor plan in the subdivision is just over 1,700 square feet. Floor plans go up from there. You can find this subdivision or neighborhood on Eola Street, just south of Ogden.
The homes in the subdivision are mid-sized. They are well-priced. Columbia Station is well-established. Each home has at least three bedrooms and bathrooms. However, some homes will have four bedrooms and four bathrooms. You can expect to spend just above 300,000 for a home in this subdivision.
Those who live in this subdivision are mostly families. The people who live in this area likely have older children. There are few elementary schools within walking to biking distance within this small subdivision. With that being said, there are elementary schools available around the area. Grades kindergarten through five will be in either Homestead or Wheatlands Elementary Schools. If children are in middle school, they will attend Bednarcik or Murphy. If the child is in high school, they will have two options. There is Oswego East and West High School.
If someone lives in this community, there is an HOA fee. This is a homeowner’s association fee. This fee covers many things. This includes major problems. The Geneva-style home will have three bathrooms, whereas the Makenzie-style home has two bathrooms. All home styles except the Hayward-style homes have a full basement. There are many beautiful parks located near the subdivision. These parks have soccer fields, playgrounds, hiking, and basketball courts.
